Overview
VITA is a personal health companion that unifies vitals, activity, medications, and health records in one clean dashboard. It pulls from device sensors and wearables to give users a daily health score and gentle, timely medication reminders.
The challenge
Health data is scattered across watches, phones, pharmacies, and clinics. The client wanted a single, calming home for it, one that surfaces what matters (heart rate, sleep, blood pressure, meds due) without overwhelming users, and that respects the sensitivity of health data.
Our solution
We built VITA in Flutter with native bridges to Apple HealthKit and Android Health Connect, so vitals and activity sync automatically. A daily health score summarizes trends, a medication module schedules doses with reminders and adherence tracking, and a records section keeps lab results, prescriptions, immunizations, allergies, and emergency info organized and shareable with a doctor.

Hard problems we solved
Normalizing data from HealthKit and Health Connect into one consistent model required platform-specific bridges and careful unit/timezone handling. Medication reminders had to fire reliably even when the app was backgrounded, using native local notifications with adherence reconciliation.
Results & impact
VITA gave users a single, trustworthy view of their health with medication adherence support that works in the background, turning fragmented data into a daily habit.
