Overview
Feasto is a fast, friendly food-delivery app connecting hungry customers with local restaurants, browse, order, pay, and track your courier in real time. The client needed a category-standard experience that felt lighter and quicker than the incumbents.
The challenge
Food delivery is a solved category on the surface, which means expectations are brutal: instant search, appetizing menus, frictionless checkout, and live tracking that actually updates. The differentiator had to be speed and polish, every extra tap costs an order.
Our solution
We built Feasto in Flutter for a snappy, identical experience on both platforms, with a home feed of nearby restaurants, cuisine filters, and promotions. Restaurant pages present menus with mouth-watering imagery and quick add-to-cart. Checkout supports saved addresses, promo codes, and one-tap Apple Pay / Google Pay, and a live map tracks the courier from kitchen to door.
Whatwebuilt
Home discovery: nearby restaurants, cuisine categories, promos, ratings & ETAs
Restaurant menus with sections, item detail, and quick add
Cart with running total and item editing
Checkout: saved addresses, delivery instructions, promo codes, service/delivery fees
Payments: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cards
Live courier tracking with route map, status timeline, and courier contact

The team
Product designer, 2 Flutter engineers, 1 backend engineer, QA engineer, plus a delivery lead.

Hard problems we solved
Real-time courier tracking that stays smooth without draining battery required throttled location streaming and map interpolation. We tuned search and image loading so the home feed felt instant even on mid-tier devices.
Results & impact
Feasto shipped a checkout flow that gets users from cart to confirmation in seconds, with live tracking that keeps them informed to the doorstep, the two moments that most affect repeat ordering.
